The Pie

For the past 20 years, I have made this apple pie for more occasions than I can count. This family recipe has always been the highlight of every meal with its flaky crust and apples piled high. I often give my gift wrapped pie to friends, frozen, so they can bake it on a whim and infuse their homes with the rich aroma of apples, cinnamon and pastry.

You can now enjoy the fruits of my labor, freezer to table, with a show-stopping pie that your family and friends won’t stop talking about . . .

No one has to know you didn’t slave all day.

Apple Pies

Please Note: We take great care in preparing your pie fresh, then frozen and ready to ship to your door. It arrives to you unbaked. Please put the pie directly into the freezer upon arrival. In may cases, the dry ice may no longer be frozen solid, but still cool. This is normal. The pie may stay in your freezer, ready to bake on a whim, for up to six months.

Baking Instructions

  1. DO NOT DEFROST.
  2. Brush frozen pie with milk.
  3. Place frozen pie on cookie sheet in a preheated 425° oven for 30 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to 350° and LAY a 12-inch piece of aluminum foil on top of pie. Do not tuck around it. Continue baking for 90 minutes until goden brown and bubbly.
  5. Last 5-10 minutes of baking, remove foil if more browning is needed.
  6. Cool completely before serving.

Due to the lack of stabilizers, full cooking and cooling is required for optimal results. Pies must cool completely or they could be watery.
